This, the first of many, is a floating event, moving from province to province every year, promising a memorable experience exclusive to Honda Adventure Motorcycle Riders in SA.

About the Lodge
Imbabala Game Lodge is situated between the towns of Weenen and Greytown, KZN. Tucked away in the bush with a spectacular view of the iconic Mt Moriah, Imbabala boasts a large variety of plains game (Giraffe, Nyala, Bushbuck, Kudu, Wildebeest and more). Accommodation is simple but comfortable.

Cancellations and Refunds Policy
If, for whatever reason an entrant can no longer participate in the event and would like to request a refund, that entrant should kindly make said request personally and in writing to events@gooimielies.co.za
- Any refunds will be subject to the sole discretion of the Event Management, and a possible 15% Admin Fee.
- Any Deposits are non-refundable.
Refunds will be granted as follows:
90% – Cancelled 120 days or more before the event date.
75% – Cancelled 60 to 120 days before the event date.
50% – Cancelled 30 to 60 days before the event date.
0% – Cancelled with 30 days before the event date.
General Terms & Conditions
- The Event Organiser reserves the right to cancel/postpone the event because of extreme weather or insufficient entries.
- You MUST be in possession of at least a Motorcycle Learner License before attending the Event.
- This type of event is high in demand, bookings are confirmed on a First Paid – First Served basis.
- Payment term is EFT in Advance.
Indemnity & Declaration
Gooi Mielies and staff, affiliated and associated companies and their staff, hereby irrevocably indemnify and are held harmless against all and any actions, suits, proceedings, claims, demands, costs, and expenses of whatsoever nature and howsoever incurred which may be taken or made against him or be incurred or become payable by him arising out of Gooi Mielies Events.
All event participants will be screened upon arrival, and before breakfast every day.
Please note that, the willful exposure to infection of fellow event participants is a criminal offence.

ROUTES, ACCOMMODATION, FOOD, SAFETY
Hein and Rory came up with this exciting idea to create a true Honda Adventure Experience, and host a three-day adventure weekend at Imbabala Game Lodge, situated between Weenen and Greytown, KZN.
Routes: Two route options have been selected for Friday and Saturday, which caters to riders of all experience levels:
The GREEN route is Pillion friendly and consists mostly of gravel roads. This route will be aimed at new riders/riders with Pillions and will be between 200 – 250km in distance.
The ORANGE route is aimed at more experienced riders with some technical sections along the way to challenge the rider’s ability. This route will not be suited to riders with pillions. Each route will be between 180 – 300km in distance.
Accommodation: Imbabala Game Lodge can accommodate 40 people in various rooms/bunk houses. There is ample camping ground with clean, hot ablutions to accommodate up to 100 people comfortably. Should the lodge reach its max. capacity, Ivala Lodge (Approx. 15min from venue) will be able to accommodate the overflow of guests.
Tented accommodation is available to riders, whereby we supply the tents at a fee to the rider, or riders are welcome to bring their own camping equipment.
Food: The in-house caterers at Imbabala Game Lodge and will handle all the catering for the event. Meals are included in the entry fee from Thursday dinner all the way through to Sunday breakfast before departure.
Safety: Your safety, and that of your motorcycle, is important to us. Around the clock security will be on site throughout the event. Furthermore, we will also have a qualified paramedic on site and on the outrides.
